bottom line:
you get a $300 airfare voucher if you stay (or at least check in ;) ) for 3 days at a harrah property. eg you could stay 3 days at imperial palace (even though i wouldnt rly recommend that) for $115 and get a $300 airline voucher. sounds like a +ev promo to me.

Just a word of caution on this thing is that it's not really good unless you're going to make two Vegas trips. Read the fine print at the bottom of the page.

Okay... I made this thread a sticky. Let's try to pool all of our best information in here and keep the Vegas trip discussions in this thread.

Though I don't think it's retrograde, meaning you have to go on another trip to use the voucher.

Its my 2nd week now in Vegas and im staying until the end of the Series. Now im in the Hooters. I think the value/price is pretty good... Im in the Bungalows, more a youth hostel than a hotel, but ok.

If anyone has information about good structured tournaments, let me know.

this site is not actual. Found many mistakes in it...

oh and a general advise, if something appears to be nearby...get a cab because it's not!
oh and if some texans tell you it is actually very close and you could walk keep in mind that they have superhuman powers that makes them impervious against hot temperatures.

The best site i've seen for tournaments is:
http://www.allvegaspoker.com/tournaments.php
It lists them all whether good or bad. Pretty much all the lower stakes ones have terrible blind structures and you're far better off with cash games. As stakes go up, obviously structure improves.

Yes, the hotels in Vegas are huge, so if a hotel is just a bit up the street and out your hotel window it looks close, it's really a two mile walk.

If you're up for walking, it's not bad if you plan on sitting after. I walked from the Stratosphere to Planet Hollywood, it felt great to sit down at a table when I got there. Of course it was winter and only about 60 F (15.5 C)

I just did 8 nights in Vegas and I stayed at the excalibur hotel. Which found to be very well located(it took less time to walk from my room in the excalibur to the MGM poker room than when I stayed at the MGM) and the room was well good enough to use as a crash pad for the southern end of the strip. I would stay there again given the price differentials. But Id definately give the excalibur casino a miss esp. the electronic tables.
