Double up or play it safe?
2320 chips with 150/300 blinds in a multi-table tournament.

I think I played this right to get all my money in, but my question is, given the blinds and the size of my stack, should I have pushed it all-in preflop instead of getting PINKYRING committed to the hand? I felt like I needed to double up there, so I think I played it right. On the other hand I may have won a smaller pot without a fight and not been knocked out if I'd raised all-in before the flop.

So, what's the best move here? Take more of a risk and double up or more if you're lucky, or try to take it down before the flop?

I definitely would have went all-in, especially with a raise in front of you. You were shortstacked and were likely to get called and be a big favorite to win the hand. Yeah, he probably still would have called you, but at least if you went all in preflop you would have known that you just got screwed.
