cashed 8 times in 2 days

sounds great but my best was 16th. I just cant win in that big spot when I need it. I have 2 FT this year online once and live once, but I have played a lot so that is about average I guess. I am in a funk but the funk is late in the MTT where it hurts the most. I may be taking to many chances putting to many of my chips at risk in marginal spots. Or I may just be steaming, lets see what good night sleep does.

I keep finishing 20th in tournaments where first is 100k+ when my biggest lifetime score is 18k, less complaining imo

I made 2 FTs last night!

6th in PL Badugi and 4th in PLO8. Both $2 but still a nice feeling.

In fact I must stop playing HE tournaments, all my recent cashes have been in HORSE, Razz, Badugi or Omaha despite these being less than half the tournaments I play.

I think this is due to 2 reasons - firstly the fields tend to be smaller (although the PLO8 one had about 550 entries) and secondly the average low stakes non-HE player doesn't appear to understand either the game or tournament play. Whereas a lot of HE players have at least a basic understanding of what is going on.

The second reason is very true. Even low stakes HE players have a much better concept of what's going on.
