500th post: Baaaad Pacific Poker

Warning: whining post

Played a silly little tournament today...

Final tabled it....

Went HU....

...and then the damned Pacific Poker server disconnects me so my opponent can cripple my stack while I wait for the client to reconnect....

...after a minute or so my patience is lost so I quit the client and start a new one, only to see that it can reconnect immediately....and then I face the obvious: my stack is almost gone and my opponent wins after about three more hands...

at this point, the tournament was not so silly anymore...so I would like to express my disgust for Pacific Poker...

Sorry to hear about that. Just to play devil's advocate though, are you sure your internet connection didn't go out and then happen to come back on during the time in which you restarted the client? Nice work on the "making it heads-up in a tournament" at any rate.

Not that anyone cares, but apparently I did not use the latest poker client software, and according to 888 support that could very well cause problems.

Hence I conclude

pstars > 888

since pstars client is autoupdated whenever one connects...

Devil's advocate should be somewhere around 667, and obviously
888 > 667, so we lose.
