Party Poker Bans High Stakes Games
Party Poker recently banned high stakes games above $5-$10 (NL/PL) and $30-$60 (limit).

The move has stirred up a bit of a commotion online with people complaining and saying Party Poker is taking a step backwards. I think it's probably a smart move if it matters at all. The winners of the biggest games are just taking money off of the site. Why not cap how much someone can realistically lose in a short period of time?

Anyone feel affected by this?

reasonable move

Id even cut it down to 2/4

and slowly to .50/1

(just the business point of view.. not my actual opinion)

party poker will die a slow miserable death from mismanagement as 888 becomes the consensus #2 poker site over the next year or two

then Zynga launches and becomes the new #1 if they do it right, stars takes tilt's position as the #2 and 888 becomes the #3 with ongame and party and ipoker sinking further into irrelevance
