I've been doing the take a sip of my drink move since I first played cash at our old cash game. That said, you can screw it up easy by gulping or even taking just too long of a sip or when it looks contrived. There are ways that make it look bluff like.

Shaking hands usually means the nuts. I hardly ever see shaking hands as a bluff.
