We had the funeral today - a very emotional time but also strangely uplifting given the tributes from her friends. She obviously had a real impact on her peers (she was only 17).

One of them said that she had learnt that it is not how you die that matters but how you live. If people only take that away with us then she has left the world a better place than she found it.

I would like to thank you all for your support both in the thread and by pm. It is amazing how cathartic it was just making a post on an anonymous internet forum and it really helped me deal with the last couple of weeks.
