Default OK Fellow Americans, who's playing where now?

well guys are there any sites up and running for us? I hear Doyle's Room and BoDog are still taking Americans. Bluff magazine sent out an e-mail pimping Poker Host on the merge network.

Who is playing where?
Are any of these sites reliable?

Personally I would wait until you hear of new subscribers successfully cash out without any hassles. Also keep in mind, it's going to be the hard core sharks signing up skewing the ecosystem. Average Joes will just suck it up and wait for some legislation.

Thanks that's pretty sound advice, although I'm just looking to play low stakes SnG's for entertainment purposes

Cake is a dying network where some people arent getting their withdrawals I recommend not playing there

Merge and Bodog make the most sense at the moment but dont leave more money online than you are happy to lose if the DOJ seizes them as well

Bodgog is a decent site. I have played on there for quite sometime. But a couple of things that does suck about them.

1. You can only play 4 tables max
2. You can't do PTP transfers
3. No rakeback. They use a points system.

the debate whether huds are fair or not is moot. you cant prohibit it, so you have to allow it.

poker is an information war.

It seems like restricting HUD's on computer systems would be simple for any competent programmer. Let's try some others...

The debate over whether steroids in baseball is fair or not is moot. You can't prohibit it, so you have to allow it.

Baseball is a physical war.

The debate over whether fuel additives and unapproved parts in racing is fair or not is moot. You can't prohibit it, so you have to allow it.

Racing is a speed war.

The debate over whether unlimited campaign contributions in politics is fair or not is moot. You can't prohibit it, so you have to allow it.

Politics is a spending war.

The debate over whether speed suits in competitive swimming are fair or not is moot. You can't prohibit them, so you have to allow them.

Swimming is a drag war.

The debate over whether unapproved balls and clubs in golf are fair or not is moot. You can't prohibit them, so you have to allow them.

Golf is an equipment war.

I can do these all day....

What about odds calculators? Is it fair that the player who has studied and mastered quickly claculating odds and percentages in order to act before timing out should have that advantage nullified by weaker players having the odds auto-calculated?

I guess if you are a weaker hitter in baseball and cannot calculate what pitch might be thrown next in any given situation you just steal the signs?
