Default Free BlueFirePoker Memberships Inside!!

No catches, no gimmicks, no fine print.

I handle all of the day-to-day at BlueFirePoker, and we are giving away FREE memberships to Pokertips members. Prior to 2011 we were known specifially for our cash game content. However, in 2011 and thus far in 2012 we have made huge signings to balance our website with Cash, HU, SNG, and MTT content for our members. Currently BlueFirePoker has a video library with over 915 videos (not including 190 French videos), 566 NLHE cash videos, 143 PLO cash videos, and 204 SNG/MTT videos. We are currently releasing more videos than almost anyone in the training industy with over ~35 videos/month including on average 15 cash videos, 10 SNG videos, and 10 MTT videos. We are unique in the sense that almost all of our coaches currently making videos are ACTIVELY playing online, and in all modesty, crushing.

If you are interested, there are two ways to receive a free premium membership.

1) In our Pokerstars Home Games, we will host a FREEROLL tournament that costs 1 PLAYCHIP to enter exclusively for Pokertips members. First prize will be a FREE 1 year subscription to BlueFirePoker, second place will be a 6month membership, and third place will be a 1month subscription.

To join the home games, please visit BlueFirePoker and create a BASIC account. Once you have created the account, join Pokerstars HomeGames club ID #634528 Password: blue123fire and enter your BlueFire account name. Inside the HomeGames you will see a scheduled tournament called PokerTips Freeroll. This tournament is scheduled for Sunday, May 27th, 2012 at 2:30 CST (GMT -6). Please post your Pokerstars username/BlueFire ID in this thread prior to the start of the tournament to be able to claim a prize, or if you don't want your Stars name public, feel free to email it to me at ryan@bluefirepoker.com.

2) If you don't want to play the freeroll, search your databases for some of the most interesting hands that you have played (cash, SNG, or MTT) and have a question or two about, and post them in this thread. Be certain to include all relevant reads, dynamics, stats, and other information you can provide about the villians in the hand. In 10 days I will have 5 of BlueFirePokers top pros visit this thread and pick a hand to disect for a special Pokertips video.

BlueFirePoker pros that will select a HH to review for the Pokertips video are:

1) Asad "glitteringprizes" Goodarzy (MS/HSNL Cash) - BlueFirePoker's newest signing, a mid/high-stakes reg that has relatively flown under the radar while crushing 6max and HU. Asad's first three videos have had almost 4500 views with much praise including a comment on his most recent video referring to him as "the most impressive video maker out there these days."

2) Dusty "leatherass9" Schmidt (MS/HSNL Cash) - A very well-known mid/high stakes reg pre-Black Friday, Dusty joined BlueFire a few months back. In the past month, Dusty has won over $50k on the Merge network and seems to have picked up right where he left off on Pokerstars.

3) Adam "ctrlaltdegen11/afc12345/pamfknbrunsonx" Reynolds (MS/HSNL Cash) - A Eurosite crusher featured in a recent interview with Pokertips, Adam is continuing to run over the iPoker network. This was quite the month for Adam as he has won another $85k.

4) Dustin "DDBeast" Dorrance-Bowman (HS SNG/MTT) - A SNG/MTT legend with over 1.5 million in cashes and almost 750k in profit, DDBeast has done it all including winning a SCOOP for $213k, 3rd in an FTOPS for $113k, final tabled a live WSOP event, Supernova Elite each year, and was ranked the top 6max SNG player on Pokerstars.

5) Aaron "aaronbeen" Been (HS MTT, GTO, ICM, and Math Specialist) - Aaron is a high-stakes MTT grinder who has over 2.2 million in cashes including winning the Sunday Brawl for $266k last year. Last night Aaron chopped the $2,100 4-max SCOOP on Pokerstars for $76,500.

We will put together the 5 HH reviews into a compilation video to be published on Pokertips for you members. If your hand is one selected for the video, you will receive a free one month membership to BlueFirePoker.

Please feel free to both post multiple hands in this thread AND sign up for the free roll.

If you are not interested in playing the freeroll or potentially getting your HH reviewed in a video, please feel free to test out a free 7day trial by visiting HERE.

I will also try to get some of our pros active in this thread after the promotion is over to discuss hands, poker, and anything else that you might want!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask and I will be happy to help out!

Smells like spam. Mods?!

J/K... this is for real. Sounds fun. I'll submit some interesting hand histories from my next session on Sunday.

Unfortunately the man is keeping me from playing online (I should move to Lebanon). Would I be able to post hands from live games? They would be from memory obviously.

Heh, I feel your pain...

Sure, if you have interesting live hands I think that would work as well

HU on a full ring 1/2 deep ante table against a reg who I didnt have that much history with <1000 hands.

But villian is capable of many things (floating, bluff raises, hero folds/call etc.....) He was opening around 90% on BTN.

I probably call more preflop this deep with decent hands in the 88-1010 AQ range then a lot of people. I was check rasing the flop during the match very frequently both as bluffs and for value which might be consider lighter than standard.

Flop plan was to induce a float, and either bet turn and check call river or check call turn and river.
I did not think he would 3bet the flop often at all (I thought most of his bluffs would float and his strong hands slowplay)

Hero (BB) ($1174.60)
SB ($2289.15)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, A
SB bets $5, Hero calls $4
Flop: ($12) 3, 9, 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $8, Hero raises $28, SB raises $52, Hero calls $32
Turn: ($132) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $90, Hero calls $90
River: ($312) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $156, Hero raises $1018.20
