ElkY tilts me. I had to unfollow him on Twitter. He'd complain so much anytime he got knocked out of a tournament as if his life was so awful and nothing good ever happened to him. That's just an intolerable characteristic out of anyone but especially a guy who has had more success on paper than all but a tiny handful of people in poker.

I dont think gossip adds anything to the value of this thread or OPs question

bad loser?

the 2+2 thread has huge discussion about formats on different media; not much hard review about content but spent half hour reading through and gave up...maybe good stuff towards the end.

if you want to learn something useful

> read books which are mindset/psychology focused
> watch vids for strategy

I just dont think you can take away many useful things from pure poker books anymore
the spending time / learning something new ratio is like a 5:1 dog in comparison to a good strategy vid

and if you want to be a tournament/sng/whatever 20bb poker shiat pro, you are better off playing with pokerstove and a calculator
