Default A2 vs KK

I just busted out of a tourney because A2 got lucky and caught an ace on the river. I went out 11th. What I want to know is, should I have not called this guy's all in raise? How good is KK online?

Online you should only play KK if both are red. Both black or one black and one red should be quickly mucked. In a live game use the opposite strategy.

Seriously though, isn't a bit disheartening when this happens? Should I have really folded KK preflop?

Yes, it sucks. If you didn't suspect the opponent had AA then calling was correct. Brush it off and move on.

you're really not that big of a favourite,

this wouldn't even make it to the shortlist for a bad beat. it happens in tournaments.

in happens in cash games too, but anyone who complains about getting into spots like that when you can rebuy wants a slap.
