All I'm saying Jason, is that just because he wasnt intentionally drawing to the flush doesnt mean he didnt fall ass backwards into it. I would have seen it as a real possibility that I was now beat in the hand. If he didnt have one pair beat before in the hand, then he almost definitely has me beat if I bet and he calls again..... and the last thing I want is a raise.

At that point, I agree you came too far with the hand and it would be a mistake to fold on the river. I just would have check/called the river and saved an extra bet.

no i understand what your saying, i appreciate your input.

perhaps that was the better play, to check the river instead of betting it.
