That's a pretty loose call pre-flop on the part of your opponent. However, this appears to be a heads up match, so you have to take in to account your opponents calling standards have probably dropped significantly. Anyways, getting back to your original question, it's definitely hard to put your opponent on J6 exactly, this is true. But with the pre-flop call and the post flop betting it is rather easy to put him on a hand better than top pair, medium kicker. Here's a list of hands people would normally call a raise with that have your A-10 in bad shape - AA, JJ, 66, AK, AQ, AJ, A6. Also, you might want to plug the starting hands (A-10 offsuit versus J-6 suited) into the hand simulator. You'll be surprised at what it spits back at you.

Not to be rude, but if this is your mentality after a hand such as this one, maybe 5/10 NL is a little too rich for you. These are the types of complaints often found coming out of guys playing $0.05/$0.10.

Id say you went wrong when u didn't fold after his second reraise. You could say after his first raise but I don't have enough infomation on the table and your opponents, and your playing image to them to make an evaluation. Seeing how this is a higher stakes game i like your raise after his to see were you are but when he comes over the top i think you should pretty much call it quits here. Don't get me wrong u had top pair but a ten kicker is pretty weak and after his second reraise u should know something is up, unless this guy has been splashing around alot of money in alot of pots and u think he is on a str8 bluff. But as we can see this is not the case. There are plenty of hands out there that had u dominated on the flop. Just my opinion.
