OK Iestyn I get Your point on this one... I learned that a player can make a mistake on the flop ( slowplaying ) which he is correcting on the turn... New for me because I thought players seems to play their hand in one way and stick to this till the end ( if the turn and river are not changing anything )..

One last question I have: If he had 89 why is he folding on the river.

His odds on the river bet are something like 1:10. The 300 bet was all in. It is most likely he is beaten with 2 pair J9 but more likely than 90%? I mean the all in says nothing because the player with 300 left in his stack HAS TO GO all in ( nearly no chance in the tourney with 300 left at this stage ). So is there really no chance JJ99A could be good???

If he had 8-9 and figured me to be holding an A, then he doesn't have anything on the river but JJ-99 with an A kicker, which of course is no match for AA-JJ. His pair of 8's are insignificant.

Yeah sure he had JJ99A ( I wrote this in my post ) but even if he put u on an ace he would not put u defenitly on it but only most likely. I never put someone on one hand but on some hands which are more or less likely... And here it must be only 10% that u have nothing to make a good call... I would have called here because 10% that u called the turn with a draw is not too much I think. It is highly unlikey but not less than 10% for me.

But maybe I have to adjust this too...

It wasn't just the A that was the problem, but also the 98J. Turnergill refused to lay down on the turn - he could've had Jx, 7T or QT as well as the A, all of which beat the two-pair.
