Just as an FYI, this was the third hand in a row that the villain pushed all-in pre-flop--not to mention that he'd been very aggressive from the outset on some marginal hands, thus his need to make a move. I knew from these facts that his hand had a strong likelihood of being bullshit--and I was right. Wasn't expecting the second call however.

Uh, don't play jack-10 offsuit under the gun in a 9 handed game..ever..

If you the first to enter a pot and your hand isn't strong enough to raise you should probably fold.

Why the heck woudln't you pick a better spot then j-10 to put all your chips in? Even if this guy is willing to go all in with any 2 cards.. j-10 is complete garbage in itself. Go run Q-8 vs j-10 in the hand simulator and you'll see why.

Also the whole idea that he "needed to make a move" doesn't make any sense. The blinds where 25/50 and he had more chips then you.

Nah after reading the bottom of his post, it makes sense what he did. But I would have certainly raised if I'm UTG because you're gonna get nowhere and perhaps would have made the 77 fold first time which in hindsight would have been a bad thing, but with JT you only really wanted to crack the loose players hand.

But I can't beleive you flopped the quads... that's mental. But imagine if you'd have just seen the flop... man that would have been some easy slow playing! The sevens would have raised huge as a flopped boat is just impossible to laydown surely and the loose player getting the J on river would be too good to be true!
