Best thing about it:

I ended the session up $237 anyway (was in for $1300). God I love limit. In NL, there's no way I don't lose my entire stack.

Well, yeah, but I mean the way that guy was playing, if it was NL, he would not have gone away. He had no respect for my raises. Seemed to be in every single time I raised.

He actually donated some back to me when I had AA vs his QQ on a K high flop. He was a good source of money even with that horrid beat.

It sucks, but you only lost $350 on that hand. If you are properly bankrolled, that hand shouldn't effect you at all and you move on to the next one.

Believe me, I was glad it only cost me $350. But 990:1 hits deserve a bit of a steam just on the fact that they happen one in 991 times.

I'm glad I was able to keep my composure and not tilt any away after it.

Oh, and if it matters, I'm not at all bankrolled for it. But that's half the fun (j/k)!

Yeah, I have experience with these (although they were only at 5/10 and 10/20, not 30/60). I lost to exact runners (989:1) 4 times within ~20k hands. I still can't figure out what the probability of that is (its not just 4X1/990 either!), nor do i want to because its too depressing.

Just focus on the fact that you had a winning session, and don't look at it any more. One of my biggest mistakes was worrying too much about the beats, instead of remembering you can't do anything about them.
