Stars (Jeff): I have seen MTH in action, however, and can say that (at least in its current form as used by players on PartyPoker) if that version were PokerStars-aware, it would not violate our terms of service. Players could freely use the current implementation of MTH on PokerStars without any concerns at all.

So long as the software does nothing but move windows around, prompting
players to act and handling the management of keyboard shortcuts instead of
mouse commands, you'll be fine. Avoid any player profiling, and any
automated playing features (i.e. don't fold the hand for them under any
circumstances).

I'm sure many players who use your MTH application on PartyPoker would love
to also use it on PokerStars, especially now that we've raised our ring
game maximum to 8 games.

Please feel free to extend the capabilities of your program to handle
the PokerStars program. Good luck!

Dear Remo,

We do not allow the usage of any third party software. Please make sure that you do not use any such software.

If a player is found to be using any of these his account will be closed.

Thank you,

Dear partypoker

I'm sorry for writing you, as you do have a lot of emails everyday. But I'm not 100% sure if this software is legal to use on partypoker and would like to hear what you think about it before I use the software.

Best wishes

...also doch nichts mit MTH

Hm.

Wär ja in seinem besonderen Interesse.

Hi

Thanks for contacting me. As i've written on the homepage, i've tried to
contact Party more than twenty times in total, and i have not received a
single reply for them, that's why i am working under the belief that Party
is silently accepting MTH. I have several hundred users of MTH and i have
not heard from a single one having problems with Party accusing them of
using disallowed third party software. Also the answer you got was a
standard reply, i believe. Partys official stance is that they do not allow
third party applications at all, but still they're accepting applications
like Poker Tracker and PokerAce without writing it explicitly, again, they
silently accept it.

That being said, i cannot take responsibility if Party suddenly starts to
target MTH users (though i cannot see why they should suddenly change stance
and do so), so eventually it is up to yourself if you want to use MTH. I can
only provide statistics that shows Party doesn't seem to have anything
against MTH.

Thanks,
Mark
