after the hand i told someone that i would have flopped the straight flush, any they told me thats why they always play "suited connectors".

People that will "always" throw in tons of chips preflop with suited connectors are our friends. Since 70% of the time they won't make monster hands and will usually have crap to fight back with otherwise.

Their best usage is when you can see a flop cheaply and in position. Otherwise you should just throw them away.

It stinks that you folded a potential straight flush, but it was the correct play at the time.

i made a note of the guy, i know its was definately correct to fold this preflop, i just found the guys response humorous and thought i'd share

I dont know, but what about when u get that 'feeling'

I had J9o once, and normally throw away, but got that 'feeling' and called.

Flop was 999. Well, I stacked someone and thats what matters. Apparently pocket 6's were supposed to be the nuts.
