I think we've all glossed over a very important point here.

Is your nickname really vampire baby? It isn't really is it?
That being out of the way, the contents of the flop have no impact on the correctness of the call preflop. You could call an allin 10 times in a row with 23o and win them all with quad 3's...but it would still be incorrect.

Thats poker 101.
That being said...there are worse things than opening up with k9o.
Now that thats covered...putting him on a 9 is stupid. You're a staggering 13 BB's deep. There are a wide array of hands that he could have. Saying "I put him on a weaker 9" is just silly. Here's why: He only has 2 plays. Allin or fold. The pot is half of both your stacks! So everyhand he wouldn't fold, he could have in his hand.

This all ties back to the 23o allin remark. The correctness of your play in this hand isn't determined by the hand he has. Its determined by the range of hands he has, and the possible outcomes. So while he happened to turn over Q9, and he got lucky on you...the reality is that when you made the play, your equity was not nearly as high as it was in hindsight.
The summary being that the quality of the decision can only be analysed from the point it was made with the information that was available at the time. Everything after that doesn't effect its correctness.
