I'm not defending his play, but REALLY, YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME IF YOU SAY THIS IS THE WORST MOVE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. or maybe you just started playing yesterday.

Here, I'll show you what a "real" donk call is and you compare it with yours. see the difference?
My donk didn't just have a failed bluff. There is no one to bluff. He is beating every hand except for the nuts. His bet is so big that no one can call except those that HAVE TO call. Some bluff. Who is he bluffing. He is bluffing off every hand that he should want to call. He is demonstrating a fundamental lack of knowledge. He is bluffing when there is no one to bluff.

The thing that makes this the worst play ever is that it IS a move. He is trying to accomplish something. There is purpose in his action - even an element of creativity. There is intent in his play. But the intent is totally contrary in every reasonable way to what he should want to happen - calls from people he is beating.

Your donk just blindly called. Maybe he misread the board and thought he had the straight. A blind call doesn't show intent. He just acted roboticly. He probably didn't actually choose to do anything at all. He was just stuck clicking.

So what do you guys do when buuble boy in a tournament refuses to go away, rather will stick around berating everything you do because you knocked him out?

"You suck!"

"**** You **** sucker!"

etc., etc..

I make the mistake of getting involved in the argument by asking stupid questions like "oh yeah, well what's your best finish in the sunday million Mr. $1 tournament loser", which they inevitably reply "1st bitch! I never lose!"

I've tried turning off the observer chat but the suspense kills me.

Not sure how this rates, but I'll toss it out. It's PLO 25 BoDog, so no HH, I'll have to receate it by hand.

The hand that was being played as I sat in, our "Hero" apparently went all in with his full stack after the flop with AA47. He only had the aces after the flop, and he needed to make quad aces on the turn and river to bail himself out from a made K-high flush on the flop. He got it.

This is the next hand, I was still sitting out waiting on the big blind.

Call (.25), call, fold, Hero raises pot, fold, Villian (stack sitting at $49) re-raises pot. Folds around to Hero, who reraises pot again, Villian reraises pot again, Hero just calls.

Flop is Jh, 9s, Ad. Hero raises pot (all in now). Villian calls.

Hero had JJxx. Villian had AKAQ double suited.

Case Jack never comes, Villian takes down about a 80 dollar pot.

Hero spends the next few minutes complaining that people always "get lucky" against him. The table obliges and rips him to shreds, both for his luckbox quads and what thell he was thinking with all the reraising preflop and then an ace hits the flop.

Hero leaves, but comes back 30 minutes later. Loses his buy in on first hand to the same villian, who hit a flush on the turn and got Hero to go all in with two pair.

I hate missing the ATM...
