Default Real Definition of Bad Beat and Fish

$1/$2NL at the casino, 8 players. I'm in the big blind, my fiend in the small blind and villain puts down a $5 stradle. I have about $450 and villain has about $125. Cards come and I pick up KK which is awesome because everyone had called the $5 laid out by the villain. I then raise it to $30, only villain calls. Flop comes Ks2h10d, I check, villain bets out $10 and I push all-in. He looks at me and says "Of course I call, I have the stone cold nuts" adn shoves his money into the middle and flips over Ac10h. The the lucky bitch proceeds to get a queen on the turn and a jack on the flop. He then looks at me and says "see I told you so thanks for the money idiot". We then get into an argument with everyone at the table on my side and him making claims about how he knew he was going to win, lucky I know the house manager or I would have been bounced out after I called him a fuckwit donkey on the way out. I finished the night up about $120ish.

OMFG that really sucks (I mean the behaviour as much as the bad beat - I get them all the time too).

But is he a donkey or a fish? I'm never sure of the difference.

Right, because teaching people to play better and then making the playing enviornment uncomfortable is ++EV.

I kinda wish you had started steaming and tilted off a couple buyins.

I know I was really immature about it, bad day at work was on the back of my mind, though its no excuse. I apologized to the people at the tablefor getting into the argument. The only people who heard my last remark were the guy, a security guard, my friend and the house manager.

Maybe you aren't, but the guy calls the OP an idiot because he knows the OP owned him (despite the fact he ended up getting lucky).

Also to Frog, where did the OP say he taught the villain to play better?

I want nothing to do with people telling other people to fold middle pair when I have top set.
