These are certainly some gross hands. I hope things improve for you.

However, you know what else I would have to say, so we'll just leave it at that.

EDIT - what acehole is getting into is pretty much what I didn't want to get into, and won't because KH showed class early on and admitted the irony of some obvious oversight.

ace i hear you, and trust me i know, everytime i bust i think thats ok, i ran REALLY good when it REALLY mattered.

Having said that, the two hands you posted, one of them im only a 40% dog so it's hardly a beat. The A7 i got lucky but this was for only half my stack so I'm hardly short If i bust there. Also note that I did post those hands on here, I have no problem accepting the fact that i got lucky, and letting everyone know about it. Also, are you telling me you play thjose hands any different?

Further, the AQ vs AK is pretty standard late in tournaments, its the one hand I want him to have, and he had it.

Im well aware of variance but after a hard day of beats i like to vent, if this is the worst I do (ie dont go on tilt etc. etc.) then I'm gonna keep doing this. It saves me A LOT more money than going to a 400NL table trying to quickly double.

I played 13 tournaments yesterday of which ONLY 1 i busted out from having my chips in behind, every other tourny was either a race or i was unlucky. I know I'm going through a rough patch it happens, but it's frustrating.

It's not so much the beats that irritate me but the hidoues play, calling on a gutbuster, calling all in with Qhigh (not even soooooted), thats what really gets me, when awful play gets rewarded.

hurthchow (SP?) re the ring game situation, after getting lucky in mansion a couple of times I told myself I would try a period of only tournaments in which I play as many as possible and really try to view how succesful/unsuccseful i can be in them. I also enjoy playing tournaments a lot more (beleive it or not) and with some of the palyers around here to learn from I think it's a good oppurtunity to try and hit some big scores. Perhaps in another 3-4 months of tournament grinding I'll turn around and say hey, I need a new RG project. I can be like that so who knows.

Further, 3/4 tabling 100NL used to REALLY take it out of me, I used to get stressed a lot more after having session where things wouldn't go my way and whilst my play wasn't influenced by the fact that it was MONEY on the table, at the end of a bad session when I would check my BR and reliase (sp?) I'm down 3-400 hundred dollars It kinda shook me a bit. I lost 20 buy ins at 100NL over the period of 4-5 days, thats a lot of hours working part time at gloria jeans....

ty for the comments tho and I do remember you railing me (obviously when i was running good hehe)

It doesnt matter how I would play them what matters is you go lucky not you are getting unlucky both are going to happen alot. I know you were venting and theat is fine, but the I am the unluckest player ever stuff is over the top.

Remember MTT is about giving yourself a chance to get lucky you did that, and that is why you won. You continue to get AI with AK vs AQ you will be fine you know that. If you want to vent, vent just keep it in control. Reminds me of Joe Hachem yelling one time when all in at the 2006 ME I think he got plenty on one times the year before. Or when knocked out in a WSOP by getting unlucky he says "everytime". I guess he forgot Q7 vs 99 in the ME FT agasint Kanter.

We're in agreement here. And also, it seems appropriate to say that I think KH at least acknowledges he had an unbelievably insane run, whereas I'm not so sure about Hachem understanding/remembering his own luck. Personally, if I was Hachem or any other winner of a huge MTT like that, I probably couldn't even joke about having bad luck for at least a full year after, including the next WSOP ME (probably the same if I was KH, considering his run in proportion).

And as Acehole said, there's nothing wrong with venting.
