Default Best Finish Ever

Well, I decided to play a $5 NL Freezeout MTT on Pokerstars today. I think I played it pretty good, finishing 73/1500 (ish).

The hand that I ended up going out on:

I was in the SB with 2nd most chips.

The play is folded around to the button (3rd in chips) who puts in a raise.

I was dealt AK(clubs), so I push. Although I was the second in chips, I was sitting around the average stack, and I had an M around 10.

BB, who is the chip leader pushes.

The button calls.

When we all flip over:

Button: AQ(spades)
Me: AK (clubs)
BB: TT

The TT's hold up for the BB and he becomes a massive chip leader in the tourny. Would have been nice for me to catch my hand. I would have been able to cruise to a decent payout. Hopefully next time it's me that comes out on top.

I only won a whopping $13, but in the end I am satisfied with how things went, and now I am looking forward to doing some more of these events. Mostly to add a little bit of variety.

Anyway, just patting my self on the back.
