Default 3d poker rooms

i was surfing around and i came across PKR online 3D poker room, it looks pretty cool. I figure that this will attract weaker players and keep them round longer. Just curious if anyone has played at any of these 3D poker rooms?

Been playing there a while. Its a nice site with the coolest betting bottons ever...! really cool site to play with lots of fish. Plus that it has great service and just got 10$ for my birthday...! thats nice...
The downsides is the sites relative small size. It still take some time filling up a SNG and there aint a lot of tournaments yet. But I see a future for this site.

My thoughts/analysis and predicitions:

B&M casinos offer players an atmosphere, they can lose and continue playing for longer than online because of this. Online poker rooms have loyalty programs where players can accumulate points and but hats and books but this is weak because to stop the sharks from exploiting this they have to make the points difficult to accumulate. This results in it serving the better players more than the weaker players. The overall result is much tougher games online than found in most if not all live games because there is very little to attract the fish.

These 3D poker rooms can offer players things to buy with their points which are of no monetary value, things such as clothing and accessories for a players online character. A player can play and lose consistantly but still accumulate points and improve and customise their online persona. By doing this I think they've incorperated elements of the reward systems of computer games with online poker. Assuming this is enough to keep some fish around it will result in a softer game which will attract more fish.

Granted these 3D poker rooms are in their infancy but i think they have the potential to boost the online poker community.

PokerWize is a poker site which has many stat programs in-built.

My first thought was: 'oh crap! now the weaker players will play better and my edge is reduced' but when i thought about it more this is not necissarily a bad thing. This information will make players play more straight forward and predictably. They might not make the same mistakes but the unpredicability of low stakes players causes alot of us to pull our hair out and this would help to standardize the styles played.

I posted most of this in the main forum where it might get seen...

k I just did a little math.

Quote:
You get 100 PKR points for every $1 you spend in entry fees. This applies to your entry fee only and not to re-buys.
Quote:
Hand 1
In a 4 handed cash game with a $50 pot raked at $2.50 a player who bet a total of $9 would receive 45 points (reflecting the 18% of the pot they contributed).
they give you 100 points for each dollar in entrey fee, and pretty much exactly 1 point per cent rake you and only you pay.

So that means for $1 bonus money you need 2000 points, which is like 5% rakeback. Thats redicolous.

So you can basicly ignore the bonus, its like non exsistent.

what about playing lets say 60 sng/mtt which costs you appr. 66$ and being not a totally donk making a profit from winnings less entry-fee plus bonus ? (this way you actually play them for almost free). or is there a point im missing?

PKR is a pretty cool site, too bad they don't allow US players. I used to play the free games when I was tilting, it helps a lot. 5dimes has a pretty decent 3D room too and they do allow US players. I haven't played their real money tables but I heard it was full of extremely bad players.
