Anyway, yeah, I think this is some FPS, and other than maybe "raising for information," I don't know what the purpose of the flop minraise is. What were you thinking? (I mean that seriously, not in a condemnatory rhetorical manner.)

I play all stakes....anyways, to answer your question........im not sure...im drinking atm and i cant recall what exactly went through my head. I suppose, I was trying to get a little info without putting too mush in?

You won't get any info with that bet. Every draw is calling and so are 2nd and 3rd pair for that matter. Your king is most likely best so play it as such, imo.

Edit: You mention you don't want to put many chips at risk. Would you feel the same way if this tourney only cost a dollar to enter? Once you plop down a chunck of money above your "normal" buy-in range then it's gone so don't play scared to try and "not lose" that money.
