Yeah I phrased that badly, my bad. I just thought it was an odd thread line to take for someone new to the form tbh, even though it doesn't affect me at all, and decided to post when I'd had a few.

My point is that if I was a US player playing on non US sites I would NOT be posting it when a random starts a thread about it which to be fair hasn't actually happened.

Another point is: why would a US player be that desperate to play on a non US site anyway?

well I'm still a little mad at party poker-they cheated me out of my first time deposit bonus. I either deposited $500 or $1,000 (I don't remember which) and they only allowed a $200 first time deposit, even though I deposited $200 the next day they never gave me my bonus, plus I still have points at a lot of rooms unless they were lost when I closed my account or they kicked me off.

I also think Europeans are fishier than American players (excluding some nationalities,e.g. Finns, Russians and Greeks).

I think this is more due to the fact that with the UIGEA people think online poker is illegal, and thus the only people who play online are educated enough to know exactly what the stipulations are. If the ban were to be lifted and PS were to advertise more I'm sure you'd see just as many American fish.

TBH for limit Holdem i don't see any sites which balance fish, low rake and table selection more than the US ones....

Sure Betfair has the softest games ever but the games hardly run.

The other thing you have to think about is that the Euro Sites charge a retarded amount of rake compared to US sites, I think Party is just about the only Euro site which is even close for FL up to 5/T and I imagine SSNL is the same.

The only thing you can get at euro sites which you can't get at non-FT sites is direct RB but even then it just balances out the difference in rake taken for the most part unless you get an absurd deal.

I think there are better reasons

1.Most, maybe all important books on poker were written in English-it's just easier for native English speakers to study those books or learn of their existence at all.

2. Most of the better poker websites are also mainly in English.

3. Poker was an American traditional game and more Americans played it earlier than Europeans with many of them being winners who continue to play.

4. A lot of Europeans are connected to the web with bi locational wireless and this is as slow as dial up and more unreliable too making it harder for Europeans to multi-table or even play one table as well.

I think that's the primary reason here.

VPN and a friend in the UK...

Sorted.

Other tips:

* Use Linux with poker shit and OS (winbollocks) running in VM.
* Tell no one, not even your mother!
* Tell the US government to suck your ****.

Or... Move to Mexico.

If you don't have any "nerd skillz" then forget it, play IRL.
