yeah they are... as soon as you get the keys it's worth 10-15% less...

but there's nothing better (in cars) then getting the car you configured by yourself and taking a breath of new car smell ;)

plus I don't think you can really make every single decision in life regarding EV...

My old corolla depreciated to the value of $0 so I abandoned it in the front yard of an old rental house when I moved out because I had purchased my current car a few months beforehand. A year later my old housemates called to ask me what I wanted to do with the car because they were moving out. I said call the wreckers and have them tow it (in Australia, wreckers will generally tow your car for free to salvage for parts if its worthless). They gave Stephen (my old housemate) $50 for the priviledge of towing my worthless car, so evidently it had depreciated to the value of $50, not $0.

Abandoning the car was a -EV decision apparently, a poor decision that cost me about 1.2 average buy-ins
