Sigh, lost, $1600 and change, villain was a monster nit, had him AI called and covered three times, lost all three, then lost a massive flip to cripple myself, then lost a 40/60 to bust
So in conclusion I lost 5 all in preflop hands heads up.
GG
Don't regret denying a chop even while I had a huge CL my opponent was quite bad, although he played reasonably HU. I actually won money in pots that didnt go to showdown once we reached heads up. Villain just got slapped in the face with the deck and managed not to blow it.
Still feels like 800 or so washed down the drain since I denied a chop HU with a 5-1 chiplead and then even stacks on two occasions.

Sigh, 10th in another PLO tourney; PLO is SO easy at the moment.
Sadly top set goes down again, this time to a 6outer (usually a 2outer since his range is exclusively AAxx after preflop)

You know what's depressing? Playing FTOPS5 (Stud Hilo) and drawing a table with three massive fish then being carddead and unable to do anything about it, then finishing in the middle of the field without winning or losing any notable hands except for a few 3 and 4-outers to get scooped on rivers.

Just had the most frustrating experience in a $109 6max. Was up to 7k early, villain made a sick calldown with one pair when I checkshoved a turn which left me with 600, I won two flips to get back to 3k or so then chipped up to 40k to be in the money with ZERO showdowns in this period (obviously having good cards helped) and then with 30 left and double the avg stack I lost a huge flip with TT to AK for a huge pot against the table fish which left me with an average stack, then 99 to AK the next hand in another huge flip and was left with 1bb.
If I win either flip I finish top five about half the time my table was so so weak and I hate the fact I had to flip so deep even though I was way good against both villains ranges and ran bad after playing and running good through the whole middle section of the tournament.
Anyway, just a frustrated rant because after a day of being card dead in FTOPS and generally everything else, I pulled off a miracle comeback, ran up a big stack in a big buy-in event and instead of winning 10k, I mincash for about $200 to end up down for the day.

Just denied a chop three handed and finished 3rd in an O8 tournament. AK42<AKQ4 for enough chips that I win after I lost a flip to double that same player up in the first place.
I hate the chop button it makes me feel dirty inside for considering it, then bad when I deny a chop and lose, but it doesn't make me feel better than normal when I deny a chop and win.
Stupid chops.
Helpful for big tourneys but not when first is like 1-3k. Sigh. Ship the $600 I guess, i'm back to even for the past 72 hrs? lol
