How many tables do you play at once? How many hours do you play per week? Can't tell without that.

If you know your winrate you can calculate it.

But who knows your winrate? Nobody can answer that question. It's possible that you run hotter as the sun the nest weeks and reaching 1k very quick. Also it's is possible that you are broke in a few weeks.

Nobody knows and nobody can answer that question.

Also 1k should not be your goal. Your goal should be to work on your game. The money comes along most of time...

20 BI are ok for the lower limits.

If the limits are 5nl, 10nl, 25nl, you need to win 2000+3000+2000=7000 Big Blinds to turn 100$ into 1000$
If you average 10bb/100 thats 70000 hands.
How long that takes you depends on your volume obviosly.

This is pretty solid advice. 20 Buy-ins usually is good.

Much of what you asked OP depends on your skill level. If you're just starting out, playing more than 4 tables will probably hurt your game more than help.

I'd start with 1 table and play 1000 hands and see where I'm at on my winrate, if its positive continue to add a table and an addition 1000 hands. So 2 tables and log another 3000 hands, and so on.
