Default Unreal - two in a row =(

This morning was a disaster for me: Game I og II below came after one another. Do you have any comments to me?

Game I
gungne posts small blind ($1)
*** posts big blind ($2)

I am dealt pocket QQ
***folds
*** raises for $4
***folds
gungne raises for $8
***folds
*** calls for $5
FLOP COMES: Qc Ts 3c
gungne checks
*** checks
TURN COMES: 4d
gungne bets for $4
*** calls for $4
RIVER COMES: Js
gungne bets for $20
*** raises for $60
gungne calls for $40

The *** shows KA winning $146

My note: I was trying to slowplay the hand on the flop. When I didn't get a bet, I put a bet at the turn. However, I should perhaps had smelled the straight when he raised me on the river?

Game II
*** posts small blind ($1)
*** posts big blind ($2)

I am dealt pocket 77
gungne calls for $2
*** calls for $2
fold
fold
SB calls $1
BB checks
FLOP COMES: 7h 9d Jd
*** bets $8
fold
gungne calls $8
*** calls $8
TURN COMES: 6s
*** bets $20
gungne raises for $40
fold
*** went all-in for $66.99
gungne calls for $46.99
RIVER COMES: Kd

The *** wins wins over $200 with a straight.

My note: Here I should maybe had understood something when the raise comes at turn. He could have had both trips jacks and trips 9 and still beaten me =(

It took me several hours to win it back. But I rest with the fact that it means that I still have a poker future...?

My conclusion: definately a temporary tilt from me (and now I will fear the straight for the rest of my life)

Not only the straight, look at the flops, both have two suited cards, i would never slowplay in that situation, the second one somone could have flopped a straight too witch makes it even scarier.
One of the biggest mistakes i see is when people slowplay to weak hands. If you gonna slowplay do it when you have a real powerful hand, like flopping a straight or a three of a kind when there is no possibility for a straight or flush when the turn comes.

Ok. You can say that I've got the exam in learning that now...

You've got to be more agressive. When you flop trips with two suited cards on the board, raise. If someone has already bet at you, even if they fold you are making what's in the pot and what they just bet. Only slowplay the absolute nuts. In both these situations, I definitely see your strategy, but there were too many cards that could have fell to bust your trips. That said, you definitely got some bad luck in both situations, but it is possible they both could have been avoided.

I wasn't picking on you or anything, just so you know :) I made that same mistake so many times myself, but we all keep learning and the fewer mistakes we make, the more money we make.
