oops, I may have strayed from the topic at hand...
I was sitting at my weekly live game the other day and the player to my left stated, "I hate to call with these cards, but they are my favorite pocket, and they always hit for me."

4,9,10 came on the flop and he bet. I laughed stating that his favorite hand was 69.

A 6 came on the turn and I laughed even harder (inside of course) because he was right that his favorite hand always hit.

To end the story he lost to the straight, but I bet he won't announce when he's playing his favorite hand again.

I get giddy with TJs. Cause when a QKx flops you can be sure to get bettors. A 9 is sneaky to trap with and the A will allow you to load the pot.

Default 56suited connectors

i like 56suited connectors becuz they have more outs than lets say ...A2suited connectors becuz;
1)less likely that someone else is holding your "outs"
2)you can make a low ended straight or high ended straight...somethin that can't be done with AK or A4!!!

i like 45s because if ace, 2, 3 comes you have it. it really gives you a lot of possibilities to hit the straight or the flush. still i only like playing it if i'm on the button or one of the blinds

I like 67s for some reason, I've hit a couple straight flushs with it, and people have no clue when you do that, especially when there holding the A or something and your raising them and there like wtf he doesn't have that, hehe gotcha Brett

I love trash hands. I like 97 suited, I like 75 suited, 45 suited is sexy, 35 suited tickles me. I'd rather be dealt most of these hands over JJ.

78s

Just seems to me that when the rag boards hit they always have a 7 and/or 8 in them i.e 278. The over pairs go nuts and bet like crazy. Also a 6910 board has the common JTs/o players liking their chops, so they bet to the end thinking they have top pair with a decent kicker and a "straight" draw.

Are low suited connectors even playable EP? So often I'll call with like 54s, have a bunch of other limpers, then the BB goes off and raises. Should I call? What if all of the limpers drop out and my EV goes through the floor? What if someone reraises.

Happens too often.

I feel i've been playing too many hands recently. I probably need to cut down on suited connectors. I seem to play everyone if the pot isnt raised. About what percentage should I play when the pot isnt raised? This includes hands like 108s, or 57s.
