Basically he had the only hand that could of beat me at that point. Do you guys agree with the way I played the hand? Should I have put him on Four 8's? The chances of that are just too slim. I was thinking a smaller boat or KK. Any advice?

Haven't looked at results yet, but bet the turn he's come along on the flop I'm sure he's going to call another bet.

Also don't post results right away or at least write them in blue so they can't be seen unless you highlight the text since they can affect the advice. I'm just going to guess that you ran into quads. If so don't worry about it, you'll get a call from a worse full house or trips a lot more often.

Also don't like the call on the river in the second hand. You could easily be up against a better straight or maybe a chop. Good chance of a full house (what exactly is calling you on the turn, but is raising you on the river?)

Well, there's obviously nothing you can do about hand number one. As far as hand two goes, you always have to be careful when you have a straight or a flush and the board pairs, especially if they come out betting strong because they probably have the boat.

yea I guess the tilt factor came into play on the third hand. There wasnt a raise preflop so I didnt figure him for AQ the nut straight so I figured at most it would be a split pot or lose to a boat. The guy had just won two hands previous to that so I was also thinking he could of just had AT trying to win a third big pot. Just one of those feelings I guess. But like I stated I wasnt in the correct fame of mind to make that call. Thanks for the advice guys.

I was wondering if my logic of not to worry about the 4 of a kind realisticly is correct. I didn't even think about it being a hand he could have. Should I of? Should I of just called instead of raising on the River?

The only hand that beats you is pocket eights. If that's what he has, then you just have to pay him off and say nh. You can't fold everytime you have a strong hand, just because it isn't the absolute best hand possible.

You can't think every person has 4 of a kind when the board pairs. I would just play like its not possible and grin and bare it when it shows up.

Regulator20, What site do you play poker at?
