I'm pretty sure it means you can bet anywhere from 2 to 6 dollars.

Yeah, it is basically limit poker but with a variable limit. So, before the turn you can bet/raise 2 through 4, and on the turn and river you can bet/raise 2 through 6. Sometimes you can bet the spread (ex. 2 through 6) at any round of betting.

I googled "spread limit poker" the other day and found a decent site or two explaining it. I would type out a link or two, but I'm lazy. Lol, sorry. Though my guess is that you've already googled it and no longer need an explanation, lol.

Here's a link! Spread limit isn't only played with a small spread like in these examples though. Apparently the local casinos aren't allowed to have single bets of more than $150, so in order to have a game similar to NL or PL they have a $5-$150 SL game with $3/$5 blinds. It's not quite the same as NL or PL, but when you can bet up to 30x the BB, it's not too much like FL either.
