Now that I think about it more I probably pushed early because a 3, Q, or J kills me on the river, while the 5 makes both their boats and I still get paid. I wonder what seat 7 had since he was the original raiser and played so far into the hand...maybe 33, cant see a3d looking for runner runner, but it is nl25.

I'm kinda wondering what seat #7 had too.

not 33... he wouldn't raise in mid position preflop, and he wouldn't lay down a boat on the turn.

don't think AA... he probably would've jammed the pot early.

mid-pocket pair? probably not. he may have been caught between reraisers post flop, but after the turn brought another K, he had to believe he was way behind. can't see him calling on turn with only two outs.

AJd or AQd? possible, but wouldn't he call the last 17.50? he was getting about 6:1 on his money....

any other ideas?

AA seems more possible than anything else I can think of. He raised preflop, raised on the flop, and laid it down when a big bet came on the turn when the 2nd king on the board came up.

So collectively they have 9 outs against you? So why wouldn't that be an automatic push? Do you only push when they collectively have 0 outs against you?

Not so much the progression of the hand that makes me doubt AA, but the amount of the bets. If he really had AA it would be a mistake to only raise 1 bet preflop with so many potential callers. Further, why would he make such a weak raise, then staight call the reraise on the flop?

maybe I'm overanalyzing....giving him too much credit?

Default I still...

...woulda pushed. I wonder if I had waited to the river if I could have kept seat 7 in. i guess i felt like i had them dominated the entire time..which I did, but the river cemented the win.
