BigMoe,

I realized that this probably will not do any good in stopping the flaming you are doing on these boards, and will most likely have the exact opposite effect like throwing gas on a fire, but I feel I must say something.

Now I'll start off by saying I don't consider myself to be and expert or a pro on poker by any means, in fact I feel I have much much to learn which is one reason I read these forums. I've only been playing for a couple years and only been playing consistently for about 9 months to a year. I'm not here to say I'm better than you because I probably am not. I'm still quite the amateur. I am posting to say people read this forum and post to it to try to make their games better and hopefully help other people to become better poker players.

I make post like I do because jackass'es like you fags give poker a bad name. Your low lifes that spend all their time reading, watching and writing about poker. You bitches are the same people that build others bankrolls in every city.
I don't see how you come to your conclusion that people on this forum give poker a bad name. I feel quite the opposite, people one this forum try to help other people in their strategies and to help them improve their games overall. I feel it is people like you who give poker a bad name because you seem to belittle everyone else only to make yourself feel better about the way you play.

HAHAHAHAHA see you spend to much time trying to learn poker, and far less time playing poker. Playing poker is what helps the most, do you think Bobby baldwin, doyle brunson, john chan and I could go on forever, learned how to play from reading books, no they played and played and played.
I agree there is no substitution for experience. But I feel you are gravely wrong implying that reading books on how to improve your poker game is pointless. You mention Brunson, Baldwin, Chan got good by playing poker and that is true. But they also have been doing it for many many years. Reading books by these people and others helps people who haven’t been playing the game forever learn the basic strategies and probabilities that are involved with the game. I can equate what you are saying to "First day on a job where you are a fence builder with only the basics of training such as how to use a hammer. Go build a fence here is some wood and some nails." Eventually you will be able to build a fence just fine and over time you will be able to build it faster. But if you had someone who has been doing it for years come up to you and show you some tips and tricks on how to make the job go faster and more efficient. You still won't be a great fence builder at the beginning but you will learn how to become a great fence builder faster than without experience.

Manutdfan if your talking about playing online then your a fucking low life. Online poker is cool if you have extra money to spend on a crap shoot but its far different from live action. If you really want to play go to Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino, in San Diego, CA. I play at the 3/6 - 8/16 limit, and 1/2-4/8 NL all you have to do is post a time. You are barking up the wrong tree little virgin, I have played in just about every type of poker game there is, with all types of different egos. I will let you in on something since you amuse me so much, ready write this down. if you want to make money in poker you must be able to change from one hand to the next( this does not mean play the same hand different) its means you must change based on the people at your table.
I don't know where you come off calling people low life’s when they play online. Online poker is far from a crap shoot. I can assume with a very high accuracy that most everyone on here plays online. Alot do play live games as well. I try to play live games whenever I can, but the nearest casino that offers poker is about 4 hours away from where I currently live. Brunson and many other pros play online poker, so I guess in your view you see them as low life’s. Now playing online is a bit different than playing live. You don't get to see you player's tells (which seems to be something that you are obsessed with), it is much faster paced, you have to figure out what people have buy just betting patterns, you can do it from the comfort of your own home, and so forth. You seem to want everyone to goto San Diego to play you at some Casino there. I think only a handfull of people on these forums live in Califonia. Now Manutdfan lives in Chicago (if you look under his name it says so). So I think taking a trip to play you and your three man "crew" live is probably not going to happen for alot of people on here. Now playing online that can be easily done.

So I try not to waste my time helping the weak like you and your friends.
This forum is so that people can help other people become better poker players and such. Its also a way to build friendships and find others who enjoy poker as much as you do. Obviously you do not seem to want to do either thing so I have one question for you: Why are you on this forum?

Now for the rest of the people on the forum, I am sorry this rant has gone on so long. I normally try to keep my post short and simple but I really hate to see people arbitrarily start flaming people because he thinks he is better than them. As for bigmoe, if you acctually read this far I am quite shocked. From your other posts it is apparent that you do not fully read what people post and just glance at it and post your "wise knowledge", which has very little to do with the original post and normally consist of you bad mouthing the original poster.

My point to BigMoe, if you are going to continue to ride your high horse and be a jackass to everyone I just ask you to leave these forums, so they can return to their realitively flame free environment.

And I'm out.....

Playing heads-up one time would prove nothing.
Playing heads-up 100 times might prove something.
What that something is, can be debated ad infinitum.

Everyone learns in their own way, with their own methods and at their own pace. If they didn't, schoolkids wouldn't get held back, and 18 year-olds wouldn't graduate with PhDs.

But I have a coffee mug, on one side there's a picture of a frowning cat sticking out its tongue; on the other side, is a quote: "The smart cat does not let on that he is."

If Moe really is so much better, why is he still wasting time here? That's what I ask myself. Well, asked. Now I don't care.

As for the rest of this thread... I dunno about anyone else, but did I miss a thread involving queenie and her red... uh, boots?

I think next time we get a new member of staff at my place I will take a leaf out of Moe's book.

"You think you can be an Editor by learnin' and stuff... well you can't... you suck, you will always suck and I'm great.. now screw you"

Thats a great idea.
For any new employees here I'll send welcome emails quoting myself at the end.
