Default Cashing out original buyin. Nice feeling!

One year of online poker complete!

After a year of playing through the rebuys, downswings, dryspells and bad beats, I have finally cashed out my original investment. BUT not before parleying it into a nice fat bankroll.

It's such a nice feeling being deep in the black; and all with other people's money!

Not gloating. Just want to share a nice feeling with the site that taught me alot.

Isn't that, like, when you're "out" of "cash"? If that's the case, then I'm very familiar with cashouts.

J/K. I'm actually up about $2k online and have been playing with pure profit for about 5 months now. I do remember when I cashed out the last part of my investment. Don't become loose just because it's profit though. As good as cashing out your last investment is, having to start all over after losing it all feels really bad.

Anyway, good luck and congrats!

i lost my original buyin

and my second one.

and consequently, i am now capable of losing thousands of dollars in a matter of minutes without batting an eyelid.

Kc (up more today than his first two buyins put together)

I lost the $135 I deposited into PP 3 weeks ago yesterday afternoon, I guess I can't play well online, cause I can go to the casino and play well, or go to any home game and not know how any one plays, and do extremely well, but I hardly ever won much playing online, and eventually I just lost it all.

Don't give up. Truthfully, I've lost $4,000 online and only now after some big wins am I able to cash out the buy-in. Think about the lessons you learned dropping that money and after a while, try again. It sounds like to me that you might have a fundamental leak in your game that you can comepnsate for in live play with your reading skills. I know that I have more trouble online because I can't see the person. But by playing online, I am able to isolate my leaks and try to plug them up (yet for some reason, I still play AQ ).

Take your live winnings and slowly invest it online and practice your game. Even if you stick to live for the most part, you learn so much from online play.

Hoss, congrats. I am now starting to know the feeling of playing in the black.
