Default Rediculous

This counts as a bad beat. It's a 20+1 Speed Rebuy Tournament at Doyle's Room. I signed up looking for a bit of fun and to practice adjusting to the blinds (since they changed every 3 min, it was good practice for me to quickly reevalute my position and what I need to do). I get to the final table without rebuying. I am winning races like there is no tomorrow (my 77 held up twice and my A-x was holding up against the shortstacks trash hands in the BB). I was feeling pretty good about this when this hand came up.

To sum up my betting, once that Q hit, I knew I was going to be all in anyways and if he had a 10, so be it.

That was pretty crazy. I've never hit a river like that before. The best part was, it was a one outer to split! I laughed so hard when that hit.

My strategy for a a tournament like this is try to accumualte chips, have my hands hold up through shear will, and play chicken as the final table was whittled down.
