Sometimes I really dont understand online poker. 4!!!!!! People go all-in. They show QQ, 10J, A9 and 77. 2 hands later I get delt AA, raise 3x BB everyone folds. 3 more hand later I get AK, raise 3x BB. 2 short stacks all-in, I call, They flip 56 and Q5. Non of us hit and I win a 6k pot..... huh???

Even if you knew your opponent held AA you should have called pre-flop imo. The bet was still just 4% of his stack.

With 6k in chips I definetly flat call and see what happens at the flop. You know you only have to worry about the BB re-raising.

If that ten hadn't dropped you might have lost a good bit with those queens out there but pre flop it's a call.

I would flat call that bet. In fact any time I have a non premium pocket pair I'm hoping that someone raises preflop with a higher pocket pair. If their bet is no more than 10% of my or their stack size I will flat call it. If I hit my set (1 in 8 chance) on the flop then I have an excellent chance of getting all of their chips. If I miss the flop it's an easy fold.

Next time CALL.

Kevin

Default my opinion

Me personally I call this without thinking but I understand his position because if the board comes all rags he has to feel that his tens are ok. Also if the person with QQ represents them bad this forces him to be trapped and he could be looking from the outside. This play is all about personal opinion and past experiences.

You probably should have seen the flop.

And you probably would have only won a little over 3k in chips (not counting your own chips - that's stupid), because I can't imagine that fool with AQ would go all-in over BOTH of you.

how do you not call that??? you were chip leader at the table, and it was raised 4x BB with blinds not that high......I would of called the raise to see a cheap flop.....if you stayed in, the guy with queens would of most likely pushed all in and you would had a huge stack.....

Dude are you INSANE? You have 6k chips and he makes it 175 chips and you fold 10 10? I'de call here with 55 lol. Chance at hitting a set and taking someones stack is worth a 175 chip call when you have 6000 chips.

Let me start by saying, I think 10 10 is a definite call here. But don't beat yourself up too much. The guy with AQ might've reraised all in preflop with more money in the pot and two players. He check/raised the flop all in with overcards, so you can't put it past him. In that case you probably wouldn't have seen the flop anyway. But, next time call...
