Default Slowplaying flush, bad or good?

We all know slowplaying a set is bad, as it invites expensive losses.

I happen to get drawn out on the other day with the nut flush as I didnt want to push people off. Hand went something like this.

I had KTs
3 callers
A73s
Flop all same suit with A on board giving me nut flush
I checked, some guy raised everyone else folded. I called
Turn 8s
Good card i think. Guy raises again, i flat call again.
River 7x
Kind of scary but i figure only A7 will really hurt me here. And thats what he ended up having.

Did i play this that terribly. I dont like most of the hand

Personally, I don't like flopped flushs that much, you rarely get action, and if you do, the villains usually have realistic outs. Anyway, I don't think you made any major mistake here. Best course of action would of course be to checkraise an obviously great turn, you will get action here from or , and a set will also come along. Against certain opponents you might even get the chance to checkraise the flop and the turn, not many will fold top two pair here. Anyway, it is not like you played the hand terribly, but not great either, there are better lines. But then, there are always better lines.
