I'd be careful as there is always the danger of Ax suited - a hand I play a lot in SNG

The second hand you were just unlucky that he hit the 9 on the river, not a bad play with top pair good kicker. First hand, even with the straight flush draw I would have probably been agressive on the flop, then backed off a little, but, this guy apparently didnt want to budge from his hand, may of had a read on you, I dont know, but I still would have probably been weary that someone hit a pair, and if the flush comes you still have the possibility that someone played Ax of hearts.

I had been playing with the guy for over an hour, he was terrible at best. The fact is he calls 4k into a 5k pot with a low draw and got lucky (bad beat), how i did anything wrong is beyond me, i didnt realise getting my chips in as a big favourite was a terrible play these days. Even if he has Ax of hearts, who calls their entire stack on a draw WITHOUT odds?

If he has a pair, I'm barely an underdog (if at all) and, HE STILL HAS TO CALL.

I actually don't like that hand; I would be thinking he has a set. I'd smooth call his raise and fold the turn.

once again tho this guy is just terrible. He limped with the entire range and honestly, he could have had anything from AA to A6.

Maybe a little rash considering how deep we were but wow, one time for kid hustlr....

What is it with people going all in on flush draws these days, they hit them often enough to annoy me and i hate folding if i have a set or two pair

kid, definitely those are some bad calls from your opponents but I've noticed one thing from online players and how it differs from BM play. I'm sure this has been repeated in here and I'm sure most of you already know this. But it's in reference to your hand histories.

Most online players can't; let go of a pocket pair, can't let go of a rag ace let alone an AQ or AJ and they will chase flushes (I think we all know that) even if they are not getting the odds, will chase gut shot draws let alone up and downs.

Most online players from what I gather don't even bother calculating pot odds let alone I don't even think they understand the concept. In the long run these players will pay you out so I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's amazing the horrible plays that one sees online time after time, night after night.

All the above leads to my concluding statement, bluffing online especially in the early stages of a SnG with only 1,500 chips is not effective. It is difficult to take someone off a medicore hand when you are representing strength. Your first example is proof, you tried to take it down with K high and the clown risked all his chips on a draw and got lucky. I would never call that risking the decent stack that he had. Too many SnGs turn into 'gambling' as opposed to poker.
