Default Would you call here?

This was my 5th hand at the table, so no reads on any of the other players. Two questions:

Did I have the odds for that PF call, even with the crappy hole cards? And what would you do in the face of that postflop reraise and cold call?

Easy fold. You have nothing but TPNK and the pot is already out of control.

Thank god for that. I knew I was doing the right thing. This is the rest of the HH:

riccohb1 folds.
** Dealing Turn ** [ Th ]
madraykin checks.
GreySHag checks.
** Dealing River ** [ 2s ]
madraykin checks.
GreySHag checks.
madraykin shows [ Ah, Qc ]high card Ace.
GreySHag doesn't show [ 3c, 7c ]high card Ten.
madraykin wins $15.95 from the main pot with high card, Ace.
#Game No : 5659604951

I know I shouldn't concentrate on results and so on, but I'm having such a rough time at the moment that even the easy decisions like this one just seem completely unfathomable. I'm questioning and second guessing everything I do.

Tell me about it. I am breaking even for 15K hands now, with some real wild swings in between. Let's hope both our luck turns around soon.

You can call here with any 2 cards. Pot is $3.75 and it is another .50c to see the flop, so 7.5-1 on your money.

But when you call with a weak starting hand you are looking to hit two pair or better, otherwise you are done with the hand. Here you are oop in a multiway pot with TPNK and the pf raiser still to act. This is not a spot to put anymore money into the pot. Good fold, regardless of the result. Personally I wouldn't have made a play at this pot; heads up, yes, but against 3 villains, I don't think your hand is strong enough. What would you have done if 2 villains had called and an overcard hits the turn? Playing this hand oop is going to be very difficult.

You should definately be taking notes on the villains though: madraykin min raises with AQ then reraises with only overcards but checks the turn, so you definately want to be taking flops with this guy as he will give you good odds pf and then overplay his hand on the flop but give up on the turn; GreySHag calls 2 bets with only a simple flush draw, and doesn't make any play to take the pot away when he has position, so you want to be sure you charge him top rate if you think he is chasing against you next time and know that he probably wont bluff.

How disappointing to see a $50NL table with only one player with a full stack. You should always reload, or decide to play as a shortstack. But in between is no good, as you are not maximising your implied odds to play speculative hands like 97o.

Oh, I took some notes alright. And then, after I'd done some breathing exercises, I went back and made some meaningful notes.

Baffling isnt it how some people bet. Yeah easy fold. I put the preflop raiser on pocket 10's. How wrong i was. Then again, i never understand min raises

Ignore the call button. It's raise or fold. (some pros have said)

I personally would have played this hand as you did, but you have to wonder what would happen raising pre-flop or re-raising post-flop? (for arguments sake) Damn there is a lot to this game...lol.
