Default A Donkey or a Shark?

A fun little poker story. I have been playing online more over the last week, mostly NL 5cd, and razz. last night I notice a friend of mine playing 25nl and join the waiting list keeping the table open and watching it a bit just to see how he is doing. When I opens up I take my seat and quickly this hand comes up:

Then I start getting attacked by trey:

trey1191 said, "what a donkey d ick"

acehole_76 said, "why you folding a pair and a flush draw there?"

acehole_76 said, "wait didnt you push all in with King high?"

trey1191 said, "ur still a donkey ****"

Then this:

trey1191 said, "hey as s hole wanna play heads up"

Like this will prove somthing , but I accepted anyway....

PokerStars Tournament #38248505, No Limit Hold'em
Buy-In: $20.00/$1.00
2 players
Total Prize Pool: $40.00
Tournament started - 2006/12/16 - 23:45:37 (ET)
Tournament finished - 2006/12/17 - 00:16:50 (ET)
1: acehole_76 (rochester), $40.00 (100%)
2: trey1191 (louisville),

You finished in 1st place (eliminated at hand #7477071167).

The moral that donkey is not always a donkey, somtimes he is a shark, and the two often make similar plays, but for different reasons. Remember that and you wont find yourself HU with a "fish"....

The moral is that you play better than the average $25 NL jackass? Hmmm, who woulda thunk it?

BTW, like your play in the 2nd hand. First hand, don't know...probably should've been at the table to be able to comment on it...

Are there a lot of sharks in 25 cent games?

EDIT: After I posted this, it sounded smug. What I mean is that so many players THINK they are sharks at lower limits so do great players prowl there often? One would think they would be at more profitable limits. I don't play that game so was just wondering...

Thats the point you dont know. Do you have friends and family that live far away from you? Do they play online poker? Do they play at your levels? My guess is if your like me is yes, yes, and no. So if you want to play wiht them you have to play in 6.50 SnGs, 5.50 MTTs, and 25nl cash games. So really anyone could be anywhere....

I think a lot of players often move down to NL25 to get over tilt and just donk of some money - I see some quite often. Are they losing money at NL25? yes. Are they bad players? no not really.

I'm playing NL25. Am I winning? yes. Am I a shark? no not really.
