KHS - so you've said what you don't like doing.

What would you do here?

Leave the table? Haha.

I honestly don't have strong advice to give since I have relatively little LHNLHE experience. I suppose raising it up to $10 is the "correct" thing to do but postflop would be a nightmare if more than one person called.

I would raise to about $12 and kill any possibility of anyone drawing to a set. And if called bet $20 on any flop because you are getting no action from them unless they flop a set.

If you look at the stack sizes of the villains, Shooter23 is first to act after you and is the short stack. He limps utg, which is very suspicious, unless he is a total donk. I might just call here for that reason, as he may be playing a monster and hoping someone would raise after him.

You could make a raise to about $6.50, then if Shooter23 wants to play he will push all-in. This means that everyone else is facing a raise, a re-raise and will know that if they call Shooter23, you are still left to act and can put the squeeze on them. This should get you hu with shooters with some dead money in the pot.

If you raise more than $7.00 and Shooter23 pushes, then the betting is capped and other players can call knowing that you can't reopen the betting, so you could end up seeing a big multiway pot oop, which is no fun at all.

So if you want to raise here, either bet enough to entice Shooter23 all-in as a reraise or enough to put him all-in in the first place.

If a player pushes and his bet does not constitute the minimum raise then players can only call or fold.

I played a hand like this on Titan yesterday. It was 25/50, in the BB I faced 5 or 6 limpers, I raised to 5 total. Flopped a straight, bet 5 and guy folded.

In your sitatuion I'd you should bet about $10. And fire a C-bet on the flop.
