Default curious what you guys do here

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP ($212.65)
Hero ($209.95)
SB ($91)
BB ($78.80)
UTG ($53.90)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J, J.
1 fold, MP raises to $7, Hero raises to $24, 2 folds, MP calls $17.

Flop: ($51) 6, 8, 6 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $32, MP raises all in to $188.65

Not much of a read on this guy, other than he called my re-raise quickly. I've had two of these recently, called both times, won one and lost the other.

EDIT: Pot is $115, it is $154 for me to call

Fold, he probably has QQ+. He might have TT/99 but he'd be pretty insane to do this. Generally I figure when most people make ridiculous overbets like this they usually have it.

Basically...fold. Im seeing AKs (for the flush draw, thats the most likely hand imho) and QQ+ here often enough for it to be a good fold, with no reads.

Im hoping that he'll pull this move again and someone will call him or i'll have a stronger hand, so i'll be able to take a note on him.

this is a tough one...he pushes $188 at a pot that's what? $86? at a lower level i insta-call b/c it means AK, AQ almost 100% of the time...although he may be trying to sucker you into this line of thinking...so i'll go w/ frogboy on this one and fold it, make a note, and try and catch him in this move when you really have it...i'm 100% sure, though i could be wrong

I also think AK is a lot more inclined to be fourbetting preflop at the very least, particularly OOP.

Hmm I usually just call a re-raise PF with AK , but i would definitly 3-bet with KK and probably 90% with AA. QQ I probably re-raise 75%, but sometimes call. But that's not to say how this guy (or most people) would play those hands.

I play AK like a combo draw preflop most of the time. I raise with it, and I usually take it to the felt, but I want to be the one doing the pushing.

Very tough spot. What hands does he make this play with that you beat: 99, TT or AK.

I would expect AK to 4bet or push pf, as oop he doesn't want to risk missing the flop and having to fold. Check/raising all-in with an unimproved AK is pretty crazy, and you have no reads to tell you he would get this out of line.

99 or TT he has the implied odds to play for set value when calling your $17 reraise pf, as you still have $185.95 still behind. But he would have to be completely crazy to check/push here. I would expect him to bet/fold with a medium overpair.

Hands that beat you: 88, QQ, KK, AA

88 he can play for set value, QQ he may want to call pf and look for a safe flop, KK and AA he can smooth call pf and look to trap you on the flop. I would expect to see him turn over QQ+ more than 88 after his flop play. His quick call of your pf 3bet makes me think he is trapping you with KK or AA.

If he has you beat he could well be overplaying it to look like a move, rather than a made hand. Without any reads on the villain, I think you are beat here. But you are getting about 1.75-1 on your money, so I wouldn't be surprised to see you call.

How I play this depends on how I feel at the time, sometimes I would make a disciplined fold and wait for a better spot and sometimes I would make a crying call expecting to get stacked. But I think the disciplined fold is the better play.
