Technically, he didn't come from behind, though. All the money went in preflop, when he was a (albeit small) favorite to win the hand. The order in which the cards are turned over is of no consequence, because there's going to be five cards without any possibility of action by either player. If the flop would've brought a 7 and then the river your Jack, it would've been exactly the same.

Raymond Davis Eliminates One, But His Opponent Gets Even

Raymond Davis gets it all in preflop with AA against his opponent's 88. The flop comes 1084 shooting Davis's opponent into the lead and leaving Davis drawing thin with two outs. The turn brings the A and his opponent explodes claiming he received a bad beat. The table disagreed and the opponent scooped up his chips and threw them toward Davis. Some verbal fireworks continued but the results were clear, Davis was still in and his opponent was sent to the rail.

Well, this is probably the sickest bad beat I've had in my poker career. (I've had worse in terms of the odds, but not as expensive as this one.)
