How are you tracking live?

Anyway, perspective: You're running miserably over a sample that is not generally considered large enough to be statistically significant. Additionally, the desperation in your post may indicate that you've also made some emotional decisions, which, given their nature, I cannot imagine worked out for you in general.

Look for leaks, and keep grinding.

Oh, and welcome to the forums.

thanks for the warm welcome....i dont think i am emotional...I usually have perspective and a good handle on the players and cards, thats why i usually go in with the best of it...live games i keep record of hands that i play in a book same as on line...so you thought is that 2000 hands is not enough to make judgment on just keep grinding ...

Well, I mean if you're really getting it in in situations where you're ahead, then you're doing something right. It's not as if math suddenly changes when you're at the table; you've just been a victim of (im)probability.

About the only things I wonder about are exactly what you mean by the implied "when" in "go(ing) in with the best of it." Pre-flop, turn, river, combination of all of the above? Are you making mistakes when your "good" hands are suddenly behind? Are you playing with players who you might be able to get to fold more often?

Of course, those are the kind of thoughts I meant by finding leaks. And, yeah, 2k hands is a dataset that most consider very susceptible to standard variance.

Edit: "Fish" is the standard title for new members/people with very low post counts.

2000 hands.... People play that in a day.
Running bad will happen and sometimes it will be for a helleva lot longer than 2000 hands
Stop losing time tracking your bad beats live wtf
Accept it or stop playing.
