I think a call was best idea against these idiots to be honest.

if no club comes on river and board doesnt pair , the guy with AAA would pay you off .

You would however have to be willing to lay down the hand if club or board paired .. otherwise calling the turn would be a bad idea.

hmm, finally someone who agrees that calling would've been a good idea, as a method to control the "gambling" aspect of poker, since the donkey guy with trips was likely to pay me off if he didn't fill up.

no one else seems to agree though.

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!
  1. Your shove gained you $300 against the flush draw who would've check folded the river.
  2. You have the NUTS with two donkeys greatly interested!
  3. A scare card J or T might prevent a set with only 10 outs (Or less, if other villain has a pair or two) from paying you off like they did on this turn.
  4. You have the NUTS with two donkeys greatly interested!
  5. You may not be able to fold a paired river. You're saying you would've lost exactly $200 on the river if it paired or flushed. Nothing is that absolute. Maybe if it were a "2 outer" flush and pairing river, it's absolute.
  6. Did I mention you have the NUTS?

Grailer doesn't quite qualify as 'someone' I'm afraid. We might accept that 'something' agrees with you, but that's about all.

look if it was me and my bankroll was huge I would just shove the turn cause I dont have time to muck around when Im playing 5 tables at once.

But if you want to protect your bankroll against bad beats you call.

Its simple really..

All in on turn = big win / or big loss <-- best move in the long run

Call on turn = small win ( unles u all in on river ) / fold river no major loss

If Im right both players combined had a 37% chance to beat you if they both called ( which you read as their playstyle)

To me 37% chance to lose isnt really worth shoving .. Id prefer to tighten up the odds a little bit more .

at the end of the day its up to your playstyle..

the best mathematical move was shove
but obviously it wasnt the best move cause you lost
