Obviously it was "UNBELIEVABLE" and nothing to do with him being no more than a 5% favourite at any point postflop.

Made the best out of what was becoming an annoying session

1. Nice pot.

2. His call on the flop wasn't that bad since it's minbet and he has what are likely 2 clean outs, since only 86 would make a straight and he had the 5d (his play on turn/river probably put in too many bets, but your table might have been LAGish so who knows?)

3. He wasn't drawing dead. I've lost to worse (and playing minbet I imagine you have as well).

I don't get it, is this some type of TWLLM sarcasm?

(3) Nope. I've lost to worse. This guy could have won with runners other than running quads. This guy wasn't drawing quite to the 989 to 1 special.

(2) Also, minbet is a stoopid game where people have odds to do just about any dumb old thing (including chase runners, although here he was just chasing what he thought was a 2 outer - and chasing to non-nut hands isn't as bad in minbet either b/c you're protected from the reverse implied odds). I don't like his call on the flop, or how many bets he put in on the turn/river combined. What I don't like is minbet.

(1) And there was clearly no sarcasm on the 'nice pot', it was like a 21 bet pot after rake.

PS - how dare you question me! I'm so gonna double my efforts to oppress your expression from now on.

His flop call is disgusting. The pot is multiway, there are 3 overcards to his pair as well as flush draws, and straight draws on board. He has called chasing a 2 outer that needs like 22:1 pot odds to be a break even play long run and he is getting what, 6:1 or something on his call? Bad flop calls like this really add up and will slowly and steadily drain your roll. His play on the flop is an easy fold.
