Default Interesting spot on flop $100plo

No reads, new to table. But my opponent (the guy who pots flop) is from Britain (for omaha, this matters).

What do you do after calling on the flop? (so no answers like 'raise preflop' to avoid the question)

Well, you must be right, because I don't have the nuts.

I'm not advocating a fold or push or call by that statement, but no, i don't actually have the nuts (or the then-nuts for that matter).

Why?

(Am interested to know as just started playing PLO and wonder if my nationality can explain my awful results)

With no reads, you have to credit him with a big hand, so either QQ or 99 or a big draw.

Against a naked QQ you are 31% and a naked 99 you are 40%. Against a big draw, say [As Js Tc 8h] you are 40%. The danger lies if you are up against a set with nut flush draw, so [3h 3d As 6s] where you are 20%.

The best case scneario is him making a big play with just the nut flush draw where you are about 65%. But with no reads, you are clutching at straws to put him on this.

Let's say you shove and get it all in on the flop, you need about 44% equity and I don't see where you have it. But I am new to this game AND British, so take it with a pinch of salt.

I would fold here, wait till I have a better idea of how this guy plays.

but then I've never played at these stakes ( or 6 max) so I'm unfamiliar with how people play at this level.

I'd probably fold against an unknown englishman... I raise all in if he was from sweden. Seriously

It is pretty close though since people love to overplay top two so you could be freerolling him a decent amount. I would also assume an unknown is loose bad and will have 33 alot and will also overplay that which isnt the end of the world

I doubt he has a wrap + nut flush draw since he limped behind in position so he shouldnt have a AsJs108 type hand. And you are nicely ahead of any quality draw like KxJs10s8x (which he should be pushing) where you have the higher flush draw

But you only have $5 invested and the "dont go broke in unraised pots" applies to omaha as well. I agree you should wait to get a better idea of how he plays. Again - if he was swedish all in
