My biggest mistake was playing against someone from Altendstatastaskansla or whatever the fuck eurodonk place this guy was from.

LOL at raising four diamonds preflop then chasing running flush and hitting. Only against my nut straight would that play ever work.

For my own amusement, I'll just imagine Seb wasn't kidding, esp. since he's from Europe.

I had a fun one yesterday at the casino. 2/5 NL. I'm about 200BB deep, villain is about 45BB deep.

I limp UTG with Ad Ah, Villain makes it 3BB, three callers, I reraise to 21BB (LOL at my line but at the casino, this works with aces)

Villain calls, for half his stack. Everyone else folds, then some guy who has already folded who has about 150BB gets cute and announces 'ALL-IN'

I excitedly announce call, not seeing that he has folded.

He laughs and tells me he already folded.

Table cracks up in laughter about how I clearly have aces.

I love live players.

My hand may as well be face up, so instead of calling the floor, I just move all-in in the dark, since villain only has about 25BB behind and there is slightly over 50BB in the pot.

Flop: Js 9c 2c

Villain tanks and studies and asks if I have aces, etc.

I'm just sitting there praying he has queens or kings and is unable to fold or something.

Villain eventually calls, then flips over a single nine, leaving the other card facedown. I flip my aces. Turn and river are dealt out as blanks. Villain flips over a second nine, laughs and rakes in the pot of about $500.

Live poker: the home of poker etiquette.

Cliffnotes: In one hand, I had aces cracked after half of villain's stack went in preflop, had some guy angle-shoot me for laughs to get me to expose the strength of my hand, then I got slowrolled.

I said nice hand and moved on to the next one. I love being untiltable. Nice hand mister fishy, i'll get your money eventually.

I am annoying at times, but I had been rather civil at this table. Yes, he deserved an ass-kicking, but I don't really bother getting tilted at the table, i'll just take his money later. Some guy accused me of colluding with the casino dealer a few weeks before and challenged me to a fist fight over it. Live poker, LOL

The angle-shooter wasn't actually involved in the hand and he was clearly just some young dumb kid doing it for laughs, not to help villain (not that it could have helped him, since he had committed half of his stack preflop with an underpair and was pot committed against my aces anyway)

Yes, I consider the all-in with no cards thing an angle-shoot, if he was friends with villain or it had helped him, I would have called the floor, as played, I didn't bother. I was also in a good mood, since I had been stuck $700 an hour beforehand and fought back to being up 300, after this hand I was still close to even.

It was a marathon session where I got all my money in very good three times (55% 80% 99%) and only won one all-in, was slowrolled, angle-shooted and had aces three times but they were cracked twice and I somehow walked away down only 3BB. I felt good about it afterwards and I got a good story.

... and yes, a lot of Australians are very unpleasant at the poker tables; I much prefer playing with the Asian gambler kids and Eurodonks at the casino to (most of) the Aussies.

@ SwoopAE, Aussies sound like Europeans, who according to good sources are the kings of the slowroll. Seriously though, that guy should get kicked out for the day for that - that is worse than even a regular slowroll, that's like a slowroll supreme.
